About the Principal

Dr. Priyanka Gupta, Ph.D (Botany), M.PhiL (Botany), M.Sc (Botany), MBA (HR), M.A (Education), M.A (English), Diploma in Administration (IIM Calcutta), B.Ed is a dynamic Principal enriched with 30 years vast experience in reputed English Medium Schools and other autonomous organizations in various capacities viz a viz CBSE City Coordinator, Resource Person, Master Trainer, President, Excellence Sahodya Complex, CBSE Schools. She has consistently spearheaded and organized teacher and principals ‘training programmes.

Her administrative experience is of 11 years, as Vice Principal, HOD, Senior Coordinator in DDM Public School, D.A.V Public School, Gevra, C.G, Delhi Public School and 3 years Founder Principal of Lions International School, Korba. The school, under her leadership achieved 7 RATED SCHOOL AWARD by the Hon’ble Governor of Chhattisgarh in the year 2022, School Excellence Award 2022 amongst top 500 Schools of India. Keeping academics tantamount, the school has consistently given 100% CBSE result with district topper in the year 2022 of class X and first batch of Class XII. The students gained recognition and fame in Sports & Co curricular activities at CBSE Zonal, National and International platform.

Looking into her capabilities and dedication, she was presented “Global Principal Award” by Chief Secretary of CBSE & Director NCERT, New Delhi.

Our goal at St. Xavier’s is to provide an enriching, engaging and challenging curriculum that will prepare students for success.
